Typical Lesson
- 1Gradual warm up increasing in intensity to get the body ready for exercise
- 2Total body stretch
- 3Syllabus work including blocking and hand and leg combinations – practising these helps with fluidity of movements and reaction times
- 4TECHNIQUE WORK – punching / kicking sequences – breakdown and execution of new punches and kicks
- 5SPOT PAD WORK – either centred around fitness and power or working on a specific technique
- 6KICK SHIELD WORK – either centred around fitness and power or working on a specific technique
- 7FREE TIME – this consists of practising self defence techniques, extra fitness work, stretching, one-to-one assistance with techniques.
OR - 8Sparring (optional) – this is strictly controlled light continuous and points sparring available to male and female members.
